It Started With Her House.

Growing up, Her House was where everything happened.

Late-night laughter. Early heartbreak. Imaginations running wild. Saying the things you would never tell your parents. It was where you figured out who you were, surrounded by other girls doing the same.

Girlhood made room for friendship without an agenda. As we grew up, the places we spent our time changed.

Her House is making room for the woman herself.

A place you can walk into alone and feel comfortable staying. A place to meet a friend or make a new one. To work, read, create, talk, learn, gather, or simply spend some time somewhere that feels like yours.

    Sydney, leader of The Overthinkers Social Club and certified yoga and meditation instructor will guide us through gentle yoga, meditation and journaling designed to get us out of our heads and back into the present. WTHN will provide express acupuncture sessions and ear seeding.

    ​Come to unwind and connect, leave having exhaled and feeling restored.

  • MONEY TALKS FOR THE GIRLS: A conversation about building financial confidence

    Let’s talk about money.

    Not in acronyms. Not with the assumption that you already know what everything means. And definitely not in a way that makes you feel behind for having questions.

    Her House is bringing together a room of women for an approachable conversation about personal finance with Manasi Patel, Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual.

    We’ll start with the fundamentals: understanding your cash flow and net worth, saving and managing debt, protecting your income, planning for major life goals, and creating a financial roadmap that can change as your life does.

    Then we’ll get into the questions you actually have.

    Bring the thing you’ve been Googling. The financial term you’ve heard a hundred times but still don’t completely understand. The decision you know you should probably make but keep putting off.

    Whether you’re growing your career, building a business, supporting a family, planning for the future, or simply want to feel more confident about what you’re doing with your money, you don’t need to arrive knowing anything.

    Come after work, meet other women who probably have some of the same questions you do, and leave understanding your money a little better — with a few practical next steps you can take with you.

    What to expect:

    A short Personal Finance 101 conversation led by Manasi, plenty of time for your questions, and conversation and connection with the women in the room before and after.

The first permanent Her House is being created for New York City.

Think of a living room you actually want to spend time in, with places to work, read, meet, create and gather.

There will be room for a quiet workday and a full room at night. Coffee with a friend and conversations with women you've never met. Recurring groups, workshops and experiences. Space to create content, meet with trusted providers, host something of your own or show up without an agenda.

Different women will use Her House differently. That's the point.

What they will share is a place designed with them in mind.
